Protecting foot health is not just about insoles

Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering visited the Foot and Spine Health Research Base established by Balancemaker and Huaqiao University. The intervention for foot health is no longer just about orthopedic insoles!

In December 2019, several academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering visited the Foot and Spine Health Research Base established by Balancemaker and the Industrial Design Institute of Huaqiao University. They introduced the 3D foot shape measurement equipment to the academicians, displayed the foot orthopedic insoles, explored foot health in depth, and conducted a comprehensive analysis of bones and body shape, which aroused great interest among the academicians.

Professor Song Wu took the academicians around the base to observe various R&D products, especially the plantar fascia orthopedic insoles. Professor Song Wu took the interested academicians to experience the whole process of foot measurement and matching insoles. Most people came to watch and felt the wonder. The project applies data accurately to each link, running through all processes from production and R&D to terminal experience marketing. The academicians all said that this is the most complete data application model in China that integrates scientific research, production and sales.

Balancemaker continues to study users' foot data in depth, adheres to the people-oriented scientific design concept, matches foot orthotic insoles according to foot shape, and creates more ergonomic footwear products, bringing foot health into the vision of the general public.
